A modern classic created in Hamburg by bartender Jorg Meyer -it's basically a gin sour with basil. Delicious fresh herbaceous notes all the way through this cocktail, complimented perfectly by the Lemon Balm Gin.
- 50ml Lemon Balm Gin
- 15ml sugar syrup
- 15ml lemon juice
- Handful of basil
Muddle the basil in the bottom of the shaker then add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Shake well (approximately 10 seconds) and double strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of basil
