Quite possibly one of the most iconic cocktails of all time and yet its origin still remains unclear. What we do know is that our take on the classic pairing of Gin and Vermouth dates back to December 2012: it was the first cocktail we made with our very first batch of Warner Edwards Harrington Dry Gin.
- 65ml Warner Edwards Harrington Dry Gin
- 10ml Dry Vermouth
- Dash of orange bitters (optional)
Lemon twist or 5 olives (one for each sip!)
Pop some ice into your Martini glass to chill it whilst you make the cocktail. Stir an ice-filled mixing glass (you can use a pint glass) for 20 seconds to chill the glass. Drain off any excess water, then add your Vermouth and Warner Edwards Harrington Dry Gin. Stir (don't shake!) quickly for 20-30 seconds. Remove the ice from your Martini glass, and strain your cocktail into your now chilled Martini glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon. If you want a more lemony aroma, twist your lemon over the top of your glass, and you'll see the oils from the lemon skin dance across the surface of your cocktail. Then, simply enjoy!
