Team Tuesday: Tom Warner
#TeamTuesday: Tom Warner
Farm-born and raised in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside (just like our epic gins 😊), Tom was always destined to return to Falls Farm one day! After graduating from Harper Adams Agricultural College, Tom started out working for a coffee buying operation in East Africa, before continuing his work with farmers from around the world by taking a role closer to home with the largest privately-owned fresh produce importer in the UK! Ten years in the produce trade gave Tom a perverse knowledge and passion for fruit which has permeated through and inspired many of our gins.
It was whilst working with farmers from around the globe, Tom started to think about options closer to home.
“Falls Farm has been in my family for generations and my dream was to set up a business that could make good use of our springs and abundance of natural ingredients.”
Tom and Tina looked at opportunities to secure the future of the land through farm diversification.
“We decided to diversify from cattle farming into gin distillation back in 2012 and, since then, our mission has changed from ‘let’s save the world from mediocre gin!’ to something bigger. Now, it’s about creating something extraordinary that brings people together. The ultimate goal is to enable people to drink gin and save the world!”
