A few words from Tom Warner

And to kick things off, we’re proud to announce the launch of Nature Marque, a first-of-its kind initiative that will help support our mission to educate and enable people to do their bit for nature and transform outside spaces. You can read more about it here.

In the meantime, June has landed with a bang, the Platinum Jubilee for HRH and dare I say it some warmer weather on the horizon, so get ready for sundowner G&T’s, cocktails and gin punch on the patio!

Bee-uitful times, in the last seven days we have captured 3 swarms on the farm, I got one and Jonny our beekeeper caught two, so its 2-1 to Jonny on the bee front but also an example of the power of nature in the seasons and how she ignores all the turmoil we create in the world and gets on with the job of surviving, creating and nurturing the countryside around us.

Our Elderflower harvest is in full swing, you probably didn’t know but we only have about three weeks each summer to make a year’s supply of our elderflower gin. No flavourings, no synthetics and nothing from a lab, we use the blossom of the elderflower bush to flavour our gin and we need about 6 cubic meters of blossom to make a years supply! We walk along the hedgerows around the farm collecting blossom to then submerge it fresh into our fantastic gin to make a sweet ambrosial gin. Our elderflower orchard is really starting to take hold so the harvest should be much easier next year.

It was in fact our Elderflower gin that started the flavoured gin craze in the U.K. and it’s very dear to my heart because it was my mum recipe, which is why we put inspired by Toms mum on the back of the bottle. So I like to say that my mum started the flavoured gin explosion in the UK. It’s a delicious gin and perfect for a summer evening in the garden and the personification of British Spirit!

We have launched our summer campaign, so hopefully you will see our “Free Cheers” packs in stores with free glassware included and if you are in London during the month of June we have a pop up bar in Covent Garden if you fancy tasting a bit of the British Countryside.

Hopefully we will see you at the farm soon for a tour, more dates being released soon!

Remember real gin has the countryside in and stay cool in the heat!

United in Spirit
Tom
