As B Corp Month comes to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect on the journey we've embarked on over the past few weeks. B Corp, short for Benefit Corporation, represents a global movement of businesses committed to delivering positive impact for both people and the planet. At Warner's Distillery, this mission is at the heart of everything we do!
Throughout B Corp Month, we've celebrated in style, embracing opportunities to make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond. Here's a glimpse into our month of B Corp:
1. Impact Report Launch🎉: One of the highlights of B Corp Month was the launch of our Impact Report, now live! This comprehensive document showcases the progress we've made toward sustainability goals and outlines our vision for the future. From reducing waste in our distillery to supporting local communities, every page of our Impact Report reflects our commitment to creating positive change, available here.
2. B Corp Bar in London🥂: Our founder, Tom Warner, had the privilege of attending the B Corp Bar event in London, where we had the opportunity to share our liquids with fellow B Corp businesses. It was inspiring to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations dedicated to using business as a force for good.
3. Annual Litter Pick🗑: As part of our ongoing efforts to give back to our local community, our team embarked on our annual litter pick around Harrington Village. While we didn't come across anything out of the ordinary this year😉🧐 the act of cleaning up our surroundings and preserving the beauty of our village was a rewarding experience in itself.
4. Wild Work Day with Wildlife Trust BCN🪵: We were honoured to join forces with the Wildlife Trust BCN for a Wild Work Day at Rushden Lakes. Together, we rolled up our sleeves to prepare the site for a groundbreaking project – the reintroduction of beavers to Northamptonshire after over 400 years. It was a humbling reminder of the power of collaboration and the importance of restoring our natural ecosystems.
5. Spreading the Spirit of Growth🌱: For the month of March, we also spread the spirit of growth by including a selection of free seeds with every e-commerce order. From lavender to lemon balm, these seeds are our way of nurturing nature and spreading the promise of brighter days ahead, find out more here.
