During lockdown we challenged 100's of bartenders to come up with a cocktail using our gin as a key ingredient. Our overall winner was Ben Horner, who works at the Libertine Bar in Cardiff, with his epic creation Deluge.
Rocks or Tumbler
Crack/muddle cardamom pods in bottom of shaker
Shake all the ingredients except the ginger ale over ice in your cocktail shaker
Double strain into an ice-filled glass
Garnish with a flamed orange peel (if you’re feeling brave)
How to flame your orange peel and become a cocktail making god
Using a firm orange, peel a section of rind.
Hold it between your thumb and index finger, orange skin facing AWAY from you over your finished drink.
Grab a lighter in your other hand, light it and squeeze the orange zest over the flame to create some cocktail magic.
Then, add the flamed orange peel garnish to your drink.
