Jardin d'été (Summer Garden)

Jardin d'ete

Delicate, crisp and floral. This elegant drink takes you to somewhere special, like a summer garden in full blossom.

Ingredients:

  • 40mlWarner's Honeybee Gin
  • 20ml Lillet Blanc
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 10ml lavender syrup*
  • 5 drops of pastis (optional but works well)

Garnish:

A few sprigs of lavender, fresh or dried

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients into an ice filled shaker.
  2. Shake and double strain into a cocktail coupe
  3. Garnish with a sprig of lavender and enjoy!

Method:* How to make lavender syrup:

  1. Take 100g of white granulated sugar, 50ml of water and a handful of fresh/dry lavender.
  2. Place in a glass bowl above a heated pan of warm water (a bit like a bain-marie) and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  3. Take it off the heat, leave to infuse for 20 minutes and strain out the liquid.
  4. Keep in a sterilised bottle in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
